I had a fabulous time Thursday night at the Art Museum of South Texas Gala. Delicious food from (my favorite place to celebrate my birthday) Joe Cottens! Stellar entertainment from Mel Tillis singing all his most loved tunes and a bunch of classics.

With us at our table were Mayor Garrett and his lovely wife Janice, Kathy (the lady who caught our radio station cat when she was a little feral cat) and her husband Dennis Johnston, Dr. Bruce (our morning show guy) and his wife Sandi, and Glenn Praesel, former host of The Nashville Network and an actor in the movie Palo Pinto Gold.
